The next meeting of the Parish Council will be held on Monday 13th April 2026, at 6.30pm at Skillington Village Hall, after the Annual Parish Meeting.
The meeting will begin with a ten-minute OPEN FORUM which all residents are invited to attend and to ask questions, or to make short statements to the Parish Council.

4.1 12.24/11.1 Community Orchard.
4.2 03.26/9.1 Audit of village benches.

4.4 03.26/9.3 Pruning of paddock trees.
5. Planning applications:
5.1 S26/0246 CWB (N Doughty)Trust, Skillington House, Park Lane: Removal and replacement of conservatory with limestone and hardwood garden room. Listed Building Consent Awaiting decision.
5.2 S26/0373 Skillington Parish Council: Section 211 Notice to reduce Sycamore tree and Hazel trees back from wall to give .5m clearance, in accordance with BS3998. Work allowed.
5.3 PL/0012/26 Skillington Quarry, land to the East and West of Skillington Road: Variation of planning permission S18/2237 – Application for the determination of new (updated) conditions to which a mineral site is to be subject - to amend condition 9 (hours of operation). Comments needed.
5.4 Any further planning applications.
6. Cemetery:
6.1 The shed roof needs repairing.
6.2 Planning permission for change of use of agricultural land to cemetery extension has been submitted.

The date of our next meeting is scheduled to be our Annual General Meeting and will be held on Wednesday 6th May 2026.
