Mission Statement of Skillington Parish Council:
To provide services for, and manage and maintain the assets of, the village of SKILLINGTON within the resources provided by the annual precept and other incomes, taking into account the wishes of the residents and obtaining value for money.

Ensure all councillors are familiar with current financial regulations and include them in the council’s Standing Orders. Regularly review Standing Orders. Appoint separate RFO (perhaps a councillor) to ensure another line of responsibility for financial management.
