We have two churches in Skillington. A Wesleyan Methodist Chapel in the Square run in association with Saltby Methodist Church and the Anglican Church of St James at the top of Church Street. Both of the Skillington Churches are mentioned in the history section of this web site.

CHURCH OF ST JAMES, SKILLINGTON

St James’ is part of the Colsterworth Group of Parishes within the Diocese of Lincoln

The church is open to visitors daily from 9.00 am to 5.00 pm (4.00 pm in winter). Please keep the outer screen door closed to prevent bird access.

Our Group of Parishes has no incumbent vicar at present, but the church still welcomes Marriages, Baptisms and Funerals. Please contact the Secretary.

SKILLINGTON METHODIST CHURCH

Skillington Methodist Church is part of the Grantham and Vale of Belvoir Methodist Circuit.

The church is open to visitors dally.

Baptisms, Marriages and Funerals are welcomed.

Weekly services are held each Sunday at 10.30am.  Tuesday chat, with soup and pudding, runs weekly.
